Societe Generale appoints Jun Ito as Head of Debt Capital Markets, Japan
Societe Generale announced the appointment of Jun Ito as Head of Debt Capital Markets, Japan, effective immediately.
Based in Tokyo, Jun reports to Koji Shimamoto, President, Societe Generale Securities Japan and Raj Malhotra, Head of Debt Capital Markets for Asia Pacific.
Jun will lead the origination and execution of bond mandates for Financial Institutions, Corporates and Sovereign-linked entities in Japan.
This appointment underscores Societe Generale's ambition to further strengthen its Debt Capital Markets franchise in Japan and support clients in achieving their offshore funding and capital objectives amid a dynamic market environment.
Biography
Prior to joining Societe Generale, Jun Ito held senior roles in the Debt Capital Markets divisions of Morgan Stanley and Bank of America. He brings more than 20 years of experience of Debt Capital Markets experience, advising a broad range of financial institutions, corporate and government agencies in Japan.
