
Societe Generale appoints Head of Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) Industry Group, Asia Pacific
As Societe Generale continues to strengthen its Investment Banking (IB) platform in Asia Pacific, the Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of William Si-Tu as Head of Technology, Media and Telecom Industry Group, Asia Pacific, effective immediately.

Based in Hong Kong, William reports regionally to Stephanie Clement de Givry, Head of Global Banking and Advisory for Asia Pacific, and functionally to Carl Bassili, Global Head of Investment Banking.
In this new role, William will lead the origination and execution of investment banking activities across the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) sector in Asia Pacific, with a focus on high-growth and innovative technology companies including those at the frontier of AI, digital infrastructure and next-generation technology platforms.
He will be responsible for driving strategic advisory and financing opportunities, including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), private placements, and a broad range of tailored financing solutions. William will also play a key role in deepening client relationships and expanding Societe Generale’s presence across these rapidly evolving industries.

Biography
William Si-Tu brings 18 years of investment banking experience from J.P. Morgan. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for TMT and Industrials investment banking coverage, with extensive client relationships with global industry leaders, high-growth technology companies, leading financial sponsors and venture capital investors across Greater China and Asia Pacific.
He has led a number of landmark IPOs, M&A, equity follow-on offerings, convertible bonds, and debt capital markets transactions across Hong Kong, the United States, Europe and other international capital markets.
William holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
