
Societe Generale appoints Alvaro Huete as Group Country Head, Singapore and Head of Southeast Asia
Societe Generale today announced the appointment of Alvaro Huete as Group Country Head, Singapore and Head of Southeast Asia, effective immediately. He succeeds Raphael Cheminat, who will be assuming other responsibilities within the Group.

Based in Singapore, Alvaro will oversee the Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) business activities across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. He will report directly to Jerome Niddam, Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific, and will join the Asia Pacific Management Committee.
With 28 years of experience at Societe Generale, Alvaro has a strong understanding of our clients’ businesses and a deep expertise in financing and advisory to meet their needs. He will play an instrumental role in further developing the GBIS business in Singapore and in continuing to deliver value-added advisory and financial solutions to clients across Southeast Asia.
