Appointments within the Markets Activities
Yann Garnier appointed Head of Global Markets in Asia Pacific and Marc El Asmar appointed Head of Sales for Global Markets.
Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking announces the following appointments within its Global Markets division:
_ Yann Garnier is appointed Head of Global Markets in Asia Pacific. He replaces Frank Drouet who has recently been appointed Head of Global Markets.
Yann Garnier is based in Hong Kong and reports functionally to Frank Drouet as well as locally to Hikaru Ogata, CEO of Societe Generale Global Banking & Investor Solutions in Asia Pacific. This appointment is submitted to the local regulator for validation.
_ Marc El Asmar is appointed Head of Sales for Global Markets, succeeding, in respect of this role, David Escoffier who has decided to leave the Group. Marc El Asmar is based in London and reports to Frank Drouet, Head of Global Markets.
These appointments are effective as of today.
