Gaëlle Olivier

Gaëlle Olivier is Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific at Societe Generale since January 2020.
Gaëlle has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She started her career at Credit Lyonnais as a Financial Engineer for equity derivative products. In 1998 she joined AXA, where she held several senior executive positions over the following 20 years, 10 of which in Asia - across Japan, China, Hong-Kong, South-East Asia and India. Gaelle was appointed CEO of AXA Group Property & Casualty business, and member of the AXA Group Management Committee, in 2016. At the end of 2017, she decided to leave AXA to focus on the support of start-ups specialised in data and innovation.
Gaëlle is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, ENSAE and a chartered actuary at the Institut des Actuaires.
