In India, Societe Generale is a commercial bank, providing corporate and investment banking services to corporate customers, both Indian large companies and multinationals.
The bank offers all regular banking services including long-term and working capital financing, trade finance, foreign exchange, term deposits, accounts management and more. Societe Generale has been in India since 1978, when we opened a Representative Office in Delhi. In 1985, the Representative Office was converted into a full-fledged banking branch in Mumbai. A second branch was added in Delhi in 1993 and a third in Sanand in 2013.
