Since 1979, Societe Generale in Singapore offers a wide range of services to our corporate and institutional clients, including lending, foreign exchange, money market and derivatives, as well as commodity finance, mergers acquisitions and advisory. It is also the Asian regional hub for commodities finance and has been the first bank of the market to launch our Daily Leverage Certificates in the Asia Pacific area.
From our Singapore office, we also manage our representative offices located in the South East Asia region (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam).
Societe Generale’s representative office in Indonesia was opened in Jakarta in 2013, to further develop the Bank’s franchise by deepening relationships with local corporations, multinational corporations, financial institutions and government entities.
Our representative office in Malaysia was opened in Kuala Lumpur in 1981, to enhance our product offering and meet the dynamic needs of our diverse client base in the region and globally.
Office in Bangkok was opened in in 2017, Societe Generale Securities (Thailand) Ltd offers fixed income products to financial institutions including asset managers, banks and insurance companies.
Established in 1993, Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking has a representative office in Hanoi, to develop the Bank’s project finance and export finance business.
